I am a contemporary artist. I received a MFA in ceramics from Cranbrook Academy of the Arts. I have held large-scale installations nationally and internationally at venues including MIT, MediaLab, and Artist’s Space Gallery in NYC. Over the past 10 years I have been researching new media and processes. My sculpture and works on paper moved dramatically toward anthropomorphically reduced forms and shapes. My most recent body of work includes organomorphic shapes made into essentialist forms, which give rise to deeper meanings. I currently maintain a 10,000 sq ft sculpture and drawing studio at the historic Mayfair Mills property in Spartanburg, SC. I have 3 artist studios with working artists, 1 studio (920 sq ft) is currently available for rent.
