Hello! I have a fully furnished ceramic studio and am looking to open it to share with a few other people. Currently it is myself, (www.episode.nyc) and two other part time ceramicists. I am in the studio full time usually mon-fri normal work hours, mostly am here alone seeing the others who work here once or twice a week. The main work table is large enough to share, though there is also ample space at the long work table that is below the windows, so there is always enough room whether or not someone else is working. The building is 24hr access, full of mixed professionals, such as bakers, photographers, florists, architects, carpenters and metalworkers. It has an elevator, private bathroom. It's located in a great part of Clinton Hill that's a bit separated but still very close to all of Myrtle Ave's cafe's, food, hardware stores, Blick, banks etc. Also situated at a quick car ride distance to/from both bridges into Manhattan. Furnishings and equipment include: 3 kilns! - Bailey 1627 3pk - Skutt 1231 3pk - smaller skutt All are true cone 10 but we only fire to cone 6 regularly. - Bailey Slab Roller - Spray Booth - Glaze mixing and materials - Shimpo whisper wheel It’s low key but we are both very professional so looking for a good fit. Someone who is serious but also not crazy production mode busy busy. (2) 8ft x 2ft x 2ft shelf is $600 / month No profit firing fees at what it costs me, based on amount of kiln used.
