My dear studio mate is leaving due to studies in the USA, and I'm on the search for another artist that is interested of sharing the space with me. the space will be available starting july first. The studio is 40m^2 in Lichtenber. This area of (north) Lichtenberg The room has east light, is located on the 3rd floor and has high cellings -- it is full with light. The Studio is equipped with a fridge, a water cooker basic kitchen stuff and a sofa . for the working part you will have a 2 big working tables and a chair. The studio is located in a beautiful old factory building (Margarine) that has been converted for use by artists. The other artists in the complex are quite international and there is a super friendly atmosphere. Also in the complex is a café/cantine, an exhibition space that can be used by artists there.there are some events taking place there over each month, and it is a great place to meet some local artists. http://www.hb55.de it is super eazy to get there from the flat, The 21, 37 and M8 trams stop right in front of the entrance, Herzbergstr./Siegfriedstr. the M8 leaves just from the corner of our street. with a bike is about 20 minute ride.
