Ceramica Delacava

About me
After several years of work and experimenting in the basement of a nice historic building in Madrid that we shared with other potters, we decided to travel and visit other potters and studios around the world. We started in India living with a potter which was a fantastic inspiration, we visited studios in New Zealand and were able to enjoy the amazing work of ceramics artists in Sydney and Melbourne. In New York we enjoyed the incredible museums and small art galleries. After our travels in 2003 we made a move to the north of Extremadura looking for a quiet life in the countryside, We built our beautiful studio with much love, had a bunch of gorgeous girls and continue working inspired by the incredible and generous nature that surrounds us. Emma holds a Ceramics Degree from Central St. Martin's College of Art in London and spent several months of her degree training at Parsons School of Art in New York. Cesar studied for several years at the School of Ceramics in Madrid and finished his training in 2000 winning First Prize of the Ceramics Award granted by the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture.
