I am looking for an artist (or share with a friend) interested in subletting my bright, spacious, private painting studio for the summer. The space is approx. 350 sq feet, with a large window with good natural light, two drafting tables, a chair and a stool, shelving and racks for drying paintings, a large easel, and a mini fridge, microwave and hot plate. The private studio is on a floor with nine other artists' studios, a shared bathroom and studio sink, and two freight elevators on the top floor of a commercial building. The street is quiet, and the elevator and front door is locked at night. You have 24/7 access to the space, but it is work only, not live. I am leaving my things on the shelves in my studio over the summer, but I have cleared the drafting tables, painting racks, and two floor to ceiling 14' white walls and my large easel for the sublettee's use. The studio will be available May 24- August 9, with a minimum rental period of 61 days, for $15/ day or $950/ month. It includes utilities and high speed internet.
