SPACE DESCRIPTION: This studio is on the ground floor of a former factory building on the Northern tip of Greenpoint. On entry, one passes through a cobble stoned courtyard from the days of America's Industrial Revolution. Just around the block are sweeping panoramas of Manhattan and a great selection of coffee shops, cafes and stores nearby. This studio has 128 square feet of wall space for you to use exclusively. With plenty of horizontal space it is easy to stand back and regard your work. There is also a steel fabrication table that can be used for canvass stretching and sculpture fabrication. The studio is fully equipped with woodworking and metalworking tools that are available for your use. Metal Tools: -Steel work table -MIG welder (need previous experience to use) -Angle grinder (need previous experience to use) -Drill press Wood Tools: -Chop saw -Jig saw -Circular saw -Orbital sander -Power drill Special Tools: 3D Printer (when operational) You will be sharing this space with me only. I'm there only two or three days a week for usually less than 6 hrs at a time. Amenities: -Wifi (included in rent) -Electricity (included in rent) -Bathroom within studio ABOUT ME: I'm a sculptor who is presently working on a tiny scale (3D printing) and in the studio less frequently these days. The reduction in scale and time will allow for you enjoy the studio as if its your own. RENTAL REQUIREMENTS: 1 month rent ($800) + 1 month deposit ($800). Month-to-month lease starting September 1, ending January 31, 2018.
