It was created in January 2002 by the Brazilian artist Juvenal Reis to initiate a community of contemporary artists in what is now New York City's most exciting emerging arts district, Long Island City. ABOUT THIS LISTER I love this studio space and I'm really going to miss it. I am moving into a live/work studio situation in another borough so I need to pass this great space on to some other lucky artist to enjoy. RENTAL REQUIREMENTS I am subletting the remaining five months on my lease. If interested, you can continue to rent the space directly from Reis Studios moving forward. I require first month, last month, and a security deposit. No musicians, metal workers, ceramic artists, or toxic art materials (resins, spray paints, etc.) allowed.
