Hi, I’m Haley. This is my studio.
$1000/month Cheap Long Island City Live/Work Space! $1,000 /month LOCATION Long Island City, New York AVAILABLE September 1, 2017 - July 1, 2018 TRANSPORTATION N/W/7/M/R/ SIZE 216 sq. ft. PETS Pets Not Allowed ABOUT THIS LISTING I am looking for a roommate who can move in Sept 1st (there is also a chance the room could be available Aug 15th) The apartment and your live/workspace is a good size, with a spacious fully furnished kitchen/dining area, and an unusually large bathroom. Photos include the communal areas and plus the hallway to your room. Your space is a two co-joined but well-divided rooms with hardwood floors. It is currently being used as an art studio + small bedroom. It is $1000 per month (all inclusive with internet and electric). You can switch it up and turn it all into a very large bedroom if you like as well. The bigger room is approx 12x12ft with multiple eastern (great morning light) facing windows, and the adjacent room is 12ftx6ft furnished with a large lofted bed and large dresser. So basically space for the bed, dresser and anything under 4ft that you would want under your bed-- it also has an eastern facing window. I need someone who can commit year to year. The apartment is conveniently 1 block away from laundry and a 5 minute walk from the 39th Ave N/W train stop, and the Queens Borough Plaza E/M/R/7. It is also short walk from the G and F trains. The address is on 27th st btw 38th ave and 39th ave. The apt is near PS1 MoMA, Flux Factory, and Sculpture Center and a 5 minute train ride to Manhattan. All bills are included in the rent (unless you somehow manage to do something excessive with the electricity) ABOUT THIS LISTER 32 year old woman with a Masters in Fine Arts from The New School, Artist, Adjunct Prof @ the City University of New York. I am a respectful and clean roommate. RENTAL REQUIREMENTS Looking for women tenants, lgbtq friendly, and no couples. Ideally, a tenant would be very focused on work/studying. Solitude is important to me, and I see this apartment as a peaceful place to relax, study, and work. 1st months rent $1000 + deposit of $1000. No drama, loud music, loud parties, pets, drugs, or smoking. You can have people over for studio visits, dinners, hanging out things like that but the family who owns the property lives in the building below and behind us. They are very strict about having only two people living in the space and not wanting any drama-- this also means we cannot sublet out our rooms for short periods of time to other people.
